由周永明擔任榮譽董事長的台灣VR新創公司Futuretown在東京電玩展登場，今天正式發表Futuretown與合作夥伴聯手開發的虛擬實境動感體驗5DTotalmotion平台，以全新概念的動態模擬器讓玩家體驗逼真的虛擬實境遊戲。
周永明去年離開宏達電，加入好萊塢特效公司數字王國擔任董事會主席，去年與Futuretown執行長楊宗翰接觸後，對年輕團隊發展VR的熱情所感動，進而投資Futuretown，並在去年擔任Futuretown榮譽董事長，今年初，周永明也成為一家以色列穿戴觸覺VR新創公司的榮譽董事長。
談及當初為何離開宏達電？周永明今天首度面對媒體回應，他表示，「要讓後面的人去做CEO，他要讓位，不想把位置占太久，他同時也想在VR上多花時間，理由就是這麼簡單」。
周永明也說，時間分配上，數字王國還是他的正職，對於許多有創業夢的年輕人，他呼籲「趕快投入VR市場吧」。
Futuretown執行長楊宗翰表示，去年他勇敢衝去宏達電找周永明尋求合作，促成這段「姻緣」，周永明在Futuretown研發、行銷、推廣全球市場、發揮品牌價值等，扮演重要角色，周永明則笑說，他現在的角色是「義工」。
未來，周永明有個夢想，想發展全球VR平台，要開放、創新、國際化，意味著周永明想要透過Futuretown當VR界的Android平台，期許在這個擁有大機會的VR產業上取得重要地位。1050914
身心障礙者在就業上常會遇到雇主疑慮，嘉南療養院承辦市府勞工局開辦的支持性就業服務，輔導身心障礙者就業，身障者也珍惜難得的工作機會，在職場上的表現，往往讓雇主對身障者的工作能力有新的看法，嘉療希望透過就業服務，讓更多身障者就業無障礙。
嘉療院長鄭靜明表示，支持性就業服務，主要服務內容包含協助身障者工作機會開發、依照個案的需求及能力找到合適的工作，並協助就業媒合，最後在找到工作後，陪伴身障者到職場工作，讓他們從求職到就業過程都有就服員相伴。
職能科主任黃婉茹指出，在推介身心障礙者進入職場前，就業服務員會透過評估，先對個案有足夠的了解，掌握個案的職業興趣及優劣勢，分析了解該職務的內容及需求，並針對身障者不足的部分擬訂策略及訓練計畫，再主動與廠商聯絡及拜訪，希望廠商能夠釋出機會讓身心障礙者工作。
就服員也透過介紹個案特質，讓雇主了解身障者也是有工作能力，能持續提供就業後的服務，以確保身障者能達到所需求的產值，並在個案開始上班後的前 ?2週到 ?3個月，就服員會實際到職場提供服務，協助個案了解職場規定、工作流程、建立同事間情感支持等，讓案主能適應該工作。
她表示，如果能打開對身障者的印象框架，會發現身障者更珍惜工作機會並認真工作，加上支持性就業服務員協助，讓他們在職場更順利。
